| HELP SAN PEDRO AREA SCHOOLS & CABRILLO BEACH! The proceeds from the event benefit the run's destination: the historic Cabrillo Beach Bathhouse serving area sports and recreational activities and Los Angeles Harbor area schools. The event will help pay for programs that are not funded by the state or City. With increasing state budget cuts in 2005, these schools face additional programs that may be eliminated or reduced. Specific allocation of funds are at the discretion of each school's PTA or Booster Club. |
